The ONE in Five Campaign is a Council of Europe initiative, which is being represented in Cyprus by Hope For Children. It focuses on the data that suggests roughly 1 in 5 children in Europe are the victims of sexual violence. The campaign has two main goals: to encourage governments to ratify the Lanzarote Convetion, which protects children against sexual exploitation and abuse; and to raise awareness of, and provide tools to prevent, the problem of sexual violence.

Since then a number of actions have been undertaken, addressing the target group of the campaign; that is, children, parents, teachers and the general public.
