Zina Andronikou

Clinical Psychologist

Zina Andronikou works at “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center s a Clinical Psychologist at the Children’s House in Nicosia. Zina is providing services to sexual abuse cases by performing psychological assessments, therapy and counseling to children and their families. 

Zina holds a Bachelor Degree in “Psychology” from The University of Greenwich and a Master’s Degree in “Mental Health in Learning Disabilities” from King’s College London. Subsequently, she obtained her MSc in Clinical Psychology at The University of Nicosia. During her clinical practice she worked in various mental health services such as: The Counseling Center for adults and children, the A’ Psychiatric Clinic of Aeginiteio Hospital in Athens, the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends and at the Center for People with Disabilities. Her internship included clinical evaluations, psychotherapy and counseling. 

Prior to her current position, Zina was a Clinical Psychologist at the Pancyprian Thalassaemia Association and the Thalassaemia Centre at Makario’s Hospital III where she offered psychosocial and emotional support, as well as counselling to the patients and their families. Moreover, she was employed as a Clinical Psychologist at the Cyprus Multiple Sclerosis Association, offering psychological support, counselling and group therapy to the patients, carers and their families. Finally, Zina was trained on the cognitive psychometric assessment, Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC–V).
