Theodoros Constantinou

Support Officer

Theodoros Constantinou works at "Hope For Children" CRC Policy Center as a Support Officer at Homes For Hope for unaccompanied children in Larnaca. He graduated from the Department of Social Work of Frederick University in Cyprus.

During his studies Theodoros worked at the  Nicosia Municipality Multifunctional Foundation where he provided support, guidance and creative avocation for primary school students. At the end of his studies, he was assigned to conduct research in order to evaluate the center's programs for that purpose, he has compiled a comprehensive report with a scientific statistical study of results and improvements.

He has completed an internship at  Agios Lazaros - special needs Center by providing specialized training to people with disabilities. There, he conducted groups of individuals with the aim of improving their developmental stage through interactive methods.

As part of an internship, he worked at the Lakatamia Social Service Office as a Guardian Social Worker for juvenile offenders. He conducted a survey on the service "Social Worker On Call" to identify problems and shortcomings of the service.

Finally, through the Erasmus+ program, he worked at the National Centre for Social Solidarity of Athens, where he provided psychological support to children, victims of domestic violence and abused women. He also worked at the mental empowerment of members of the homeless center for their social reintegration.
