Irini Georgiou

Social Worker

Irini Georgiou is registered to the official Association of Social Workers in Cyprus and she is currently working as a Social Worker at “Hope for Children-CRC-Policy Center” at the Humanitarian Division of the Organization, at the Foster Care Department. In 2014 she accomplished her Bachelor studies from the Department of Social Administration with Direction of Social Work of the Democritus University of Thrace. She is currently on the last stage of postgraduate studies, taking place in Frederick University focusing on “Social Work Regarding Families, Children and Teenagers”. 

Between 2015 and August 2018, she has been working as hourly-paid employee for the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, in the department of Minimum Guaranteed Income.
