Eliana Nicolaou

Social Worker

Eliana Nicolaou works as a Social Worker at the Children’s House. She is a graduate of the Department of Social Work of the Humanities Sciences Sector of Frederick University Cyprus. Eliana has been trained in the "Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family" by the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO, 2009), in "Street Social Work" by the Limassol Municipality (2011) and in the "Recognition and Management of Child pornography " through the Social Workers training Program of the National Safer Internet Center ‘’Cyberethics’’ in Cyprus (2012). She also attended the educational program " Systemic Therapy of couples" at the Systemic Institute of Cyprus (2011-2012) and ‘’The use of Weighted tools for the early detection of psychosocial risks and problems in children and parents of immigrant families" by the Limassol municipality (2016).

She also worked as an Administrative/ Social Worker at the Pafos Asylum Seekers Reception Centre (2011-2013) and as a Social Worker at the Immigrant Information Center of the Limassol Municipality.
