Luisa Vannetti

Support Officer

Luisa Vannetti works at “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Centre, as a Support Officer at “Home For Hope” for unaccompanied children in Nicosia. She holds a Bachelor degree in “Linguistic and Cultural Mediation” from the University for Foreigners of Siena where she had the opportunity to study and work in a multicultural environment. Additionally, she acquired a Master Degree in Children's Rights from the Milan-Bicocca University. Luisa attended various workshops that focused on unaccompanied minors in order to understand their social, human and emotional needs.   

She has been collaborating with the Research and Development Division of “Hope For Children” since 2019, as a volunteer through the ESC program. Luisa was responsible to follow up on projects related to unaccompanied minors and how the Organization could provide support services for their transition to adulthood. Before joining Hope For Children, she worked in Italy and in Albania with vulnerable groups of children applying non-formal educational methods in order to avoid social exclusion and illiteracy.
