BASE White Paper on Migrant and refugee child-friendly support services in cases of sexual and gender-based violence

Gender-based violence (GBV) is too often understood as a private, family matter. This is a common social problem, which can be reduced and limited in the long run by promoting zero tolerance to all forms of violence and appropriate action, both at the private and professional levels.

A team of professionals from various fields on the completion of the BASE project, came together to deliver information and support judicial processes in child-friendly and culturally sensitive manner. The BASE White Paper was developed by the professionals and is dedicated to the rights of migrant girls to a child-friendly justice in cases of sexual abuse.
