Marianna Papakyriakou works at "Hope For Children" CRC Policy Center as a Support Officer at "Homes For Hope" for unaccompanied children, in Larnaca. She graduated the Pancyprian Lyceum of Larnaca and currently she is completing her degree as a Teacher of Primary School Education at the University of Patras.
During her studies, she has managed to develop teaching and learning techniques which involve teaching young people with different backgrounds and educational needs. During her six month practicum, she achieved to adjust lessons and activities, taking into consideration each child’s psychology status and personal needs.
Furthermore, she attended a seminar in Athens, organized by “Interdiciplinary Centre of Epirus”, on Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Furthermore, she volunteer basis at Rodea Camp in Patras and participated in a program where campers are present to assist in the creation of a safe and fun environment.
