{"id":14049,"date":"2021-03-02T16:13:40","date_gmt":"2021-03-02T14:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uncrcpc.org.cy\/?post_type=project&#038;p=14049"},"modified":"2022-03-11T20:17:22","modified_gmt":"2022-03-11T18:17:22","slug":"transnational-youth-forum-2022-climate-change-global-concerns-and-impact-on-the-rights-of-the-future-generations","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"http:\/\/staging.uncrcpc.org.cy.dedi3501.your-server.de\/en\/project\/transnational-youth-forum-2022-climate-change-global-concerns-and-impact-on-the-rights-of-the-future-generations\/","title":{"rendered":"Transnational Youth Forum 2022: Climate Change, Global Concerns and impact on the Rights of the Future Generations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><strong>Transnational Youth Forum 2022: Climate Change, Global Concerns and impact on the Rights of the Future Generations<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;is a project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, which aims at bringing together youth, experts and policy-makers from different European countries to foster debate, promote the active participation of young people and raise awareness on&nbsp;the interdependence&nbsp;between&nbsp;Climate Change and&nbsp;the Rights of Future Generations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHope for Children\u201d CRC Policy Center,\u00a0based\u00a0in Nicosia,\u00a0with the valuable contributions of\u00a0the University of Verona and the University of Torino from Italy, the New University of Lisbon from Portugal and\u00a0Rinova\u00a0LTD from the UK,\u00a0is\u00a0committed\u00a0to encourage mutual dialogue on Climate Change and\u00a0its\u00a0inextricable link with\u00a0the\u00a0violation of the\u00a0Rights of Future Generations,\u00a0involving several key-actors such as\u00a0youth,\u00a0stakeholders, policy-makers\u00a0and civil society organizations, both at national and transnational level.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Transnational Youth Forum will take place on March 16th and 17th, 2022\u00a0in Nicosia\u00a0(Cyprus) and it will\u00a0be a great\u00a0opportunity for young participants and stakeholders to exchange ideas, propose policy recommendations and discuss sustainable solutions <strong>to tackle the\u00a0negative\u00a0impact of Climate Change on\u00a0the\u00a0Human Rights\u00a0of Future Generations<\/strong>.\u00a0During the\u00a0Forum, 40 students from Cyprus, Portugal, Italy and the UK will\u00a0<meta charset=\"utf-8\">participate in a\u00a0Workshop presenting the\u00a0Final Report &#8220;Climate Change, Global Concerns and the Rights of future Generations&#8221; and preparing\u00a0policy-recommendations\u00a0and advocacy actions.
